1. Open fuel filler door.

Assembly is easy.

I like it too! Nice and easy. I can that is a standard spray paint cap? It would just slip over the opening? MIke

Fix for capless filler

Me too lol. Simple and cheap. But then it also is that. It's a cheap feeling and is it really going to keep dirt/ water out?

I'll make one and see what every1 thinks and see what the interest is. It Definitely won't be free or cheap as a spray can cap

Re: Fix for capless filler

I had that one and every time you removed nozzle the sleeve comes out with it. So I just replaced the filler to a cap type no more problems now. I can now top up all the way to top of the filler now.

Yes, the one I used was a cap off a large can of wasp and hornet spray. It slips over the entire filler neck and fits perfectly snug. It's never worked loose and even if it did the fuel filler door would prevent it from coming off.

Yes, that's what I liked about it... simple, cheap and very functional. It's hidden by the fuel door so it's not like anyone sees it. Of the people who have seen it while I'm filling up, they thought it was a great idea. I've had this on for a year or so now, through last summer's heat and winter's polar vortex. No problems... fits nice and snug and I've never detected any dirt or water getting around it. Inside of the cap and the entire filler neck is still clean.

Re: Fix for capless filler

Test fitted the latest cap I printed out and I need to make an adjustment on the inner o ring channel so it sits better. The fit was way too tight. Was barely able to pull cap back off lol

Put me down for one, Dom, when you're ready to ship. As one of your original DEF protection plate customers, I already know this new product will be worth every penny you charge for it.
