Re: For those who are thinking about Bluespark...

Moved my jumper to C9, gonna test it out. Supposedly that is the "max torque" setting. I really think the only way to truly tell is take this thing to the Dyno.

Re: For those who are thinking about Bluespark...

C9 gives a check engine light. Going to try E9 and see how that does.

Re: For those who are thinking about Bluespark...

E9 is good! It feels "peaky" and gives a really good shove through the gears, feels nice 100 to 150km/h.(sorry about metric) Thanks for your report on C9 and yes due to no usable information from Bluespark, graphs etc, we need to dyno.

I've already tried getting mine dyno'd to get some results with and without the bs but was unsuccessful. The tuner couldn't hold the car in one gear for the whole run, even when using the paddle shifters. If you guys have more success I'd be interested to see your results.
I'm using dash command on my iPhone which gives a power and torque read out but it's not too accurate, on my current setting it showed a peak power of 226kw and 804nm... But you could maybe use it just to get a rough comparison of the different settings.

Re: For those who are thinking about Bluespark...

Nice. Ya, E9 seems to be the best so far. Pulls really great and no check engine yet after a day of testing. I'm still giddy about how this truck moves out with the Bluespark pro+boost!

Apparently the diagnostic callibration on our vehicles varies to some degree. I can't run C9 or E9….anything over 7 sets a code on light acceleration when the engine is hot after anything more than casual driving. I can run the higher settings if I drive easy...but that defeats the purpose! I am very happy with E7. It may be a bit more laggy than D7 but feels the same as stock...until I punch it...

There's your problem right there. "light acceleration" You're supposed to use at LEAST half throttle everywhere.

No charge for the diagnosis this time.

I have noticed no decrease in economy as long as I drive the same. Flat land cruise at 55mph is still 37 to 38 mpg...which was my baseline before the BlueSpark. If I use the increased performance, mileage goes down as expected.

Re: For those who are thinking about Bluespark...

Do you guys notice any increase in diesel injector noise? I wonder what stress or strain is put on the fuel system by these adjustments.
You guys need to keep the tools with you to quickly remove evidence of this device prior to any dealer service for fear of voiding your warranty.
