No updates. I finally ended up trading my POS in. I could never keep it in my possession long enough to get anything done on it.

That sucks. I've got 3000 miles on mine and I love it. Great gas mileage when not towing and plenty of power to pull around my 4200 lb loaded trailer. I plan on not touching it till after warranty then flash it and remove all the emissions shit that is keeping it for getting ridiculous fuel mileage. We shall see. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get the dreaded "see the dealer" warning on the dash.

Ah, that's a shame. Seemed like you had a good line of inquiry going.

I was holding out hope that maybe you could finally teach Chrysler how to tune our transmissions properly (or at least sell us a third party flash).

Re: Full custom tuning in the works

Has anyone thought about coring out the DPF with a piece of inch and 1/2 or so pipe and then replacing it on the vehicle? That should relieve most of the backpressure and since the sensors would not register any pressure differential it wound not call for a regeneration cycle. For all appearances it would remain stock but yield a benefit in performance and fuel mileage.
I so miss and long for the days of being able to roll coal as I did with my tuned 6.0 powerstroke!

Yea screaming burnouts were also fun. Nothing like the smell of burning rubber and black clouds of diesel smoke in the morning. Secondary benefit was pissing off whining libtards and environmentalists.
