EFI Live is a tuning platform, not a canned tune. Various competing tuners all use the platform to develop tunes for supported vehicles. The best tunes don't come from Bullydog, Edge, or any of the other canned tune providers. A really good tuner with an EFI Live system and a 4wd dyno will be our best option...those tunes will be sold by the pro tuner, not EFI Live. I hope that is just around the corner!

It's so close I can almost taste it....I would expect to see this roll out commercially by winter. Waiting for the BETA testing to be done.

Re: Full custom tuning in the works

The major benefits I see from tunes on our vehicles is fixing the emissions related issues we are having - as this seems to be our Achilles heel. With how they put on the DEF injector it seems as Jeep added this as an afterthought and the cost of repair and parts they charge to fix them is almost criminal. For instance, just the price of the actual DPF pipe the previous diesel JGC (WK) was $4,500 (quoted from the dealer). The Service manager laughed when I said hell no and the technician said I could get a tune and a DPF delete pipe for 1/4 that price which is what I did.

If the new tune would allow owners to disable / delete the DEF system to get rid of that reliability issue (of course at their risk with local emissions testing - if any) and or allow delete of the DPF system as well providing even more fuel economy (I bet a DPF deleted and tuned WK2 diesel could get 40 mpg in aero mode with a conscious right foot).

Don't expect dpf/scr delete from myself or other big tuners.
