Re: Great gas mileage

Tires and wheels make a huge difference. I replaced the OEM Michelins with some Wranglers for better off road traction and my mpg dropped 2-3 mpg on average.

Before I did that I would get 33-34 mpg keeping it at 65 mph or less on the highway but now get low 30's doing the same. Also I could get high 30's when driving on back roads at a constant speed of 40-45 mph. That is only when I'd not have to slow or stop and re-accelerate.

Re: Great gas mileage

We installed a set of Pirelli Scorpion Verde A/S Plus in May of this year and I really like them. Good grip, turn is better than the Michelin's, a quiet tire, very good in the wet and our mileage is about the same/maybe a tad better.

I installed the GDE tune and was getting around 28 mpgs. I then went with some 275/55R20 Cooper ATPs and I have dropped to around 26 mpgs. I was hoping for a little better mpgs from GDE but the drivability increase is still worth it.
