I will definitely share my thoughts but as it's my wife's car I'm not going to say anything to her and see if she notices anything at all. Probably won't. I'll share my thoughts in time. We always end up right at 24.6mpg, all city driving for mileage, with every single tank. So that will be an important indicator as well.
They ship it 2 day air for $12 to TX. So I'll have the weekend to install it if they got it out today. It was sort of a rash mid-day decision and they asked several questions so it's clear to me they don't just throw it in a box when the order comes in.
Yes, I purchased the engine braking option (along with the regen notification) but only after asking many questions to verify it would not be a bother in day to day driving. We likely won't use the Jeep for towing, just the occassional ski trip (is the plan). It's just my nature to get all the goodies I guess.
I sell Kenworth trucks so I'm pretty knowledgable about the working of the emissions and their related problems. In short, the guys at GDE pretty much said ALL of the right things without forcing me to consider an undesirable (to me) delete kit. As a guy that has owned deleted diesels before, I actually want emissions, clean air, quiet driving, etc... I just did't want to suffer so much for it (3 dealer visits, in 5K miles!
