Could the draining and simply installing (2) gallons just be a fluke with your vehicle? Just can't understand how or why this would work???

How to delete DEF injection with no software/hardware

Why would 2 gallons keep the entire system from working

Re: How to delete DEF injection with no software/hardware

The amount is irrelevant. Just have some in there in case it decides to inject. My theory is the way the sensors work it does something with the computer.

When you drained the Deft, did you leave the tank empty for any amount of time before putting things back together again & adding the (2) gallons?

Interesting, do you have to turn car on after you drain tank or do you leave off entire time.

What's the theory to explain this? Is it that the DEF intake is above the 2 gallon mark?

Is the 2 gallon refill due to the weird ultrasonic detector (rather than a float) that is the reason we are always supposed to add a minimum of 1 gallon so it can detect the fill change and not throw a code?
