How to delete DEF injection with no software/hardware

Simple. Drain the DEF tank of any remaining DEF you have into a clean container (see my other thread).

Add about 2 gallons back to tank. Voila! No more DEF injection.

I have driven almost 6k and haven't used a drop and no errors or codes. Worked on a buddies as well.

Step 1: Buy alientech
Step 2: Pull out ECM and read out file with a bench harness
Step 3: Map out the ECM
Step 4: Find tables attributed to DPF and delete/disable them
Step 5: Delete the DPF off the truck (flow-pro will be making a full exhaust soon)

OR: Wait a little bit for all the custom tuning to hit the market (not too long)

I already performed steps 1-5, but was looking for an easier way for other owners.

In your previous thread about draining the DEF fluid you mentioned in step #8 about clearing codes. Do you also have to do that step in this procedure, if so how? Also how does this simple procedure stop the DEF injection? Thanks much for your work and efforts on this!

So if you don't have codes, you don't need to clear them

What are the consequences, if any, of not injecting DEF into an otherwise stock system?
