Yeah, I had my tongue in my cheek. :-) I'm not all that worried. I did look at a lot of other vehicles, but like someone said in one of the other threads, nothing "spoke to me" like the Jeep did. I couldn't find anything I liked nearly as well. I've never owned a Jeep before, never considered owning a Jeep before. I've been all foreign cars except for a brief stint with a Chrysler minivan. Currently own a Subaru Impreza wagon (great AWD, but very simple and way too small now) and my wife drives a Prius (which is great, but not if you hunt as I do). This guy will replace the Subaru.
Believe it or not, the new Cherokee got me looking at Jeeps, I didn't mind the looks of it, loved the tech, but was disappointed in its size. I then realized the JGC had most of the tech, but was significantly larger, though NOT significantly more $$$. Started researching and here I am. Slightly worried about it's long-term reliability, but I see the later builds have been significantly better. We'll see, I'm expecting this thing to be around for at least 10 years, even if the repair bills are a little higher than what I'm used to, at least I'll have a car I actually enjoy instead of another plain ol' boring Toyota, Honda or Subaru.
