This is exactly what my dealer did on Tuesday, CEL just lit back up on my way to work.

I picked up a 4 gallon box of MOPAR def ($40!!!) and am storing inside the house in the air conditioning.
Hate to say it but this is exactly what my dealer did and then the code came back a few days later. So I would expect for you to be taking another trip to the dealer

Re: Incorrect DEF - See dealer

Got back from the dealer yesterday following a P20EE. The dealer did absolutely nothing. By the time I got to the dealer the P20EE DTC was a "stored code" (which means the PCM was able to run a full drive cycle within parameters, so it moves the code to a non-active state). According to the dealer Chrysler does not authorize any warranty work on stored codes and recommended to come back if/when the DTC becomes active again. This is going to be a long haul...

Don't worry the P20EE will be back. I clear mine and in 5 starts the mil is on again. I was hoping to avoids a dealer trip but I am going to schedule a visit.

Incorrect DEF - See dealer

Great, add me to the list...

Since I only put in 2.5 gallons of Peak BlueDEF, should I try adding a few gallons of Mopar DEF to see if it fixes things? Doesn't make sense to me that there would be a difference. I verified before buying that I was purchasing a fresh batch for what I added already.

Re: Incorrect DEF - See dealer

Does the DEF system in our Jeeps have a DEF filter somewhere in the system?

Re: Incorrect DEF - See dealer

I got code P20EE-00 "SCR NOx Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1-" at about 8500 miles. The DEF was getting quite low, about 15% from stuff I put in over the summer. I told them to add new, fresh, DEF and erase the code.

So far so good, I've driven about 400 miles and the check engine light has not come back! Keeping my fingers crossed.

Re: Incorrect DEF - See dealer

If you are suffering from CAT failure, P20EE will reoccur. You can continue to drive unless you get the shutdown counter.

We now have a CAT pandemic. The Ram guys are beginning to see the same thing.

Yes...start at the beginning of this thread if you want the blow.by blow history. It all started with "Incorrect DEF - See dealer". I don't know if the failed Cat was coincidental or related. I had 18k miles when it all started and finally fixed at 21k. I'm at 26k now with a new DEF pump, DEF doser module (injector), and Cat. DEF tank and lines where cleaned and new DEF filled.

More bad news.... Dealer needs to replace the scr catalyst. Chrysler told my dealer the issue is the scr catalyst is not absorbing the Def fluid. Chrysler will not release the currently designed catalyst to be replaced as they say it will just fail again. The newly designed catalyst won't be available until December 1st so I'm without my jeep until then. Needless to say I'm not happy and will be waiting to hear from the local Chrysler rep on Monday. So everyone who thinks the code has been fixed, i would expect it to be back since it looks like the issue is a design flaw.
