So everyone who thinks the code has been fixed, i would expect it to be back since it looks like the issue is a design flaw.
They have gotten to the root....the CAT...at least you are getting the improved Cat...I'm driving around with a 150 mile time bomb since they put the same one back in mine. I'll enjoy it while it last but I'm sure it'll fail again.

Incorrect DEF - See dealer

I received the "Incorrect DEF" warning after adding 2.5 gals. of Peak BlueDEF but the message has since gone away. I am still receiving a CEL with code P2BA9, which is one of the codes documented here. Is this code related to the Incorrect DEF warning?

Re: Incorrect DEF - See dealer

Looks like Jeep came out with yet another PCM update for correcting false DTC's with P20EE and P2BA9 among them. I'll be shocked if this whole CAT mess ends up being an overly sensitive PCM. Check the new PCM update here. This is an RRT so Jeep pays special importance for this to be put in ASAP.

Re: Incorrect DEF - See dealer

I have driven (towing) about 250 miles since my MIL went out after to the P20EE. I will try and get this flash as soon as I can. And let us all hope this is a real P20EE fix.

Re: Incorrect DEF - See dealer

I've done about 400 miles since CEL for incorrect def and so far so good. Gonna bring it in though for right pull and vibration in steering wheel and occasion low oil pressure light coming on. I'll ask for the new update. Thanks

Re: Incorrect DEF - See dealer

I just used the OBDII/Toque App to pull error codes. None. The P20EE is gone after driving several hundred miles. I am scheduled to get the Rev D flash in three days.

Re: Incorrect DEF - See dealer

Rev. D PCM Update no good.

Jeep was in last week for "Incorrect DEF" message. Star ticket opened. Reflashed PCM with Rev. D. Lasted 5 days. Back at dealer.

Dealer is being told that it needs a DEF pump which is on backorder and expected sometime around February. LOL

Escalated with dealer. Called Jeep and escalated as well. Going to assign me a case manager in 4-5 days. What a joke. Meanwhile, dealer working with factory rep to find one of these elusive DEF pumps. We'll see how that goes. I did ask the service manager if was aware that they're going to end up buying this one back if they don't go grab a pump off the nearest one and he agreed.

Mentioned forum/cat issues. Dismissed. Apparently colaborating with others doesn't solve problems.

TOTAL DAYS - 10 (I'm not patient)

I had the NOx sensor replaced today. I had two starts before the P200EE and check engine light came on. I was joking with the enterprise agent that I will be back as the sensor isn't the problem. Is the new catalyst still on track for December first?

Most of the info on the new Cat is based on dealer techs talking to the factory and the info relayed here by owners. You may want to ask your service tech to start a Star case and get him to ask Star about the new Cat.

I'll be calling the dealer in the morning and have them start a STAR case. Hopefully I don't need to go to the dealership to do that.

Re: Incorrect DEF - See dealer

Was looking around here for another post and saw this TSB that was posted on Friday for the P20EE error. Haven't expirenced it myself but seems as though it has happened enough now.

Very interesting. My P20EE has been gone for a couple thousand miles. Yet, they have a DEF injector on order for me. In light of this TSB, I suppose this TSB needs to be done instead of replacing the DEF injector.

It is kind of scary if they do the test wrong, by mistake or intentionally, and say that the DEF is contaminated. Then they say that the problem is not covered by the warranty.
