The Jeep is a 2014 GC Limited 3.0L with about 50K miles.
A few weeks ago I was having problems with the fuel gauge. Very erratic and for a while it wouldn't read more than half full. And then it would seem accurate again.
My information may be a little sparse as this is translated from wife-speak.
It was brought to the dealer I bought from and they diagnosed it as a Power Control Module issue. After waiting a day for the part to arrive I was next informed it could be the wiring. Now two weeks later I'm waiting for a fuel pump to arrive.
The Jeep ran as strong as always so I never suspected anything more than the fuel gauge itself and/or the PCM.
Has anyone experienced this fuel gauge problem before and what became of it?
Does it sound like the dealer is just part swapping, hoping to guess right one of these times?
