Jeep Easter Safari Overland-er GC EcoDiesel

Didn't see anyone post this yet. Most people here don't seem to build and take their GCED's off-road too much but this is a great build concept out of the 2015 Jeep Easter Safari based on an Overland EcoDiesel w/ Air Suspension.

Re: Jeep Easter Safari Overland-er GC EcoDiesel

I like it but I think it's overkill for the target market. I rather get a stripped out Wrangler for offroading and keep a well optioned JCG for daily driver. I got a CRD Limited with Lux pkg and didn't want the air suspension for long term reliability nor added weight from skid plates. If I could have opted out of the heavy panoramic sunroof I would have but it comes as park of the Lux pkg. I came from a Frontier Pro-4X and I never got to take it off road.

I think you're missing the point of a "concept" vehicle at the jeep easter safari, no less :P the tent and the diesel seem to make sense for an overland-style vehicle.

I love the longer wrangler, too: https://twitter.com/RoadandTrack/sta...390337/photo/1

I like the RTT, front fascia/winch, light bar and sliders. It needs a way to carry extra fuel/water and support antenna mounts for HAM and it'd be perfect. The rest I could leave off and be happy.

I wonder if one of those skid plates is DOMs

If this the Colab with Jeep and Peske corporation... Then it should have my plate. I got confirmation they received it so I'm hoping they will follow thru with it. Other wise I just gave them a free paper weight lol.

Check out the doorless Wrangler that's supposed to be at Moab.

I'd be happy if I could just buy the wheel arch flares they've used once again on this one.

Agreed.

If the Bushwacker flares didn't have those exposed bolts, they'd be on my Jeep already.

Nice looking Overland "Concept" The Winch, larger driving/fog lights and bigger wheel openings with those fender flares AND the rock rails would be great additions to my Overland. Would pass on the overhead tent however. I even like the sage-green color, but I'll keep my Deep Cherry for the time being.
