Re: Leasing the 2014 diesel
Lease here as well $0 down, 15k per year and MSRP was about $50k. Even under a lease you can negotiate the purchase price of the vehicle. A tip is to join the tread lightly program with the level of $100 annual donation (it's a Jeep off road conservation program) to get 1% below invoice pricing (and you can get it even lower bargaining with the dealer). You have to do this 30 days before ordering though to be in their system and have a control number. I use the diesel as our main driver for all weather, towing a trailer, and vacation long haul vehicle (love the 800 mile range so we stop at scenic areas to take a driving break rather than a gas station).
Bumper to bumper warranty is 3/36 but drivetrain is longer iirc 5/60k.
