Liqui Moly Diesel Intake System Cleaner

Anyone had any experience with this? Looking for an alternative to taking my intake manifold off for cleaning. Liqui Moly makes a cleaner that you just inject into the manifold while the engine is running. Looks life taking the EGR diffuser off would be the best place to use it. It says it's DPF safe as well.

use it every other fill up. notice more power, better mileage, seems to also run smoother.

Do you inject it through the intake by taking off the EGR diffuser tube?

No. I've used it. You have to take off the intake manifold hose like in the pictures and inject it directly into there.

Great many thanks, but the original post calls for the Diesel Intake system cleaner, which is in spray form, and the search on ID Parts comes up with diesel Injection system cleaner - which is a wholly different item entirely?

I think the injection cleaner is what bermie63 was referring to since he said he uses it every other fill-up. That's why I questioned it.

They must have stopped selling it. I just looked again and couldn't find it. It was a European product. Too bad. I was gonna get more too lol
