Maintenance Schedule Oddity
I'm hitting my 11K miles on my Summit and was going over the maintenance tables at the end of both the Owners Manual (8th ed.) and the Diesel Supplement (7th ed.). One Oddity I noticed is the replacement schedule of the AC/Cabin air filter. The owners manual instructs to replace it every 20K and the diesel supplement every 10K. This difference is very odd. Is the cabin air in the diesels so polluted that it requires new filter at double the replacement rate?
