Well I had my GC 345 hemi wk2 in second during traffic, and forgot to switch it when we got moving. when I notice. I was doing 60 in second, and the Rpm would not even pass 3800 or lower even, and the temp stayed the same as normal everywhere. I think it is a protection on the engine or a governor of some sort.
More professional input would be best though..
