Hmm, that seems like a long time driving with that code tripped.

I got my JGC back today, finally. It took a while to find what was wrong. It turned out to be the connector for the cat converter had a bad pin, so didn't establish a complete connection.

Yeah, really. This time I got a 2015 JGC with the gas V-6, so at least I had the same rig as mine.

I still have it, though! When I went to pick up my JGC today, the gas flap's alignment was so noticeably off that I mentioned it to them, and they said they'll fix it.

I got more gear out of my rig and transferred it to the rental. Dog crate, stuff like that. We're moving in to that rental JGC, it has been six days already. The dealer is paying for the rental, except for a $5 per day upgrade to the JGC (otherwise it would've been a Chrysler 200). $5, it's practically free.

The Enterprise Club, it'll be for a while longer! All told my rig has been at the dealer's for 11 days and counting since I bought it.

At least, fortunately, the dealer is taking good responsibility for fixing the problems!

Hopefully P20EE is finally fixed! Won't know for a few days, though.

I have been dealing on and off with the tripped CEL P20EE code since June. Just now getting it resolved after many software updates etc. Just waiting on the new catalyst that is on back order. I concur it does seem to use somewhat less DEF fluid with the CEL light on or perhaps the software updates cause it to use less DEF?

Not sure why the DEF reduced consumption.

Sounds like our P20EE experiences are similar. Please let us know if yours is resolved or otherwise hasn't reappeared in a few weeks or months or thousands of miles. I'll report back here too, after a few miles and then a little longer. When i get it back, that is.

Am interested in hearing of others' P20EE experiences too. I'll do a search.

Re: MIL & P20EE again & again & again...

I've had a code off and on for the last 2 weeks now - which won't allow me to do remote starts in the morning

Bring it to the dealer on Friday to see what it is (don't have a scanner so can't check easily and don't want to run to a store to figure out what's wrong). Since CV joint is grinding and there's another recall and whatever else reprogramming they need to do the dealer is hooking me up with a rental. Will update when I find out.

Re: MIL & P20EE again & again & again...

The dealer called this afternoon. Mine is ready for pickup, so I'll go get her tomorrow.

Wish me luck!

^^^ Good luck!

Just got the code again today. I'm going to have to call to take it in. Just not in the mood to fight with them doing everything other than replacing the cat. So I'll talk to my regular service rep and see what they say.

It's after 1am here and my wife and I just got home from a 350 mile test drive of our rig. I rode her hard, I rode her soft, (the rig not the wife), we did some 4-wheeling, and I did some aggressive and fast driving. We crawled over steep dirt hills (J-1 / Panoche Road between Hollister and Firebaugh; also Griswold Hills and Tumey Hills, for those who know the area).

No MIL. No sign of the MIL. So far so good!

Gotta say, though, that I LOVE LOVE LOVE that CRD engine! While my rig was in the shop I had a loaner, a 2015 JGC with the 3.6L and for 700 miles I drove it, it got only 16 MPG overall.

Around town the CRD is much much peppier than the 3.6L. On the freeway, passing speeds are pretty good although the 3.6L is also decent, but the 3.6L is louder while the CRD sounds more refined. The 3.6L's exhaust note sounds more "growly" while the CRD again is more refined.

Then there's the fuel economy and I know we all know about that, or most of us.

Measured fuel economy during this 350 mile test today:

► 28.6 MPG during stop&go, slow&go freeway commute rush hour, then when things opened up I cruised at 80 MPH (70 - 90 MPH) with a light, gentle foot for a total of 122 miles

► 22.8 MPG on the freeway cruising at 80-90 MPH (hey, it's California and I-5 where the limit is 70) with a heavy foot meaning harsh accelerations, stomping the pedal to pass, for a total of 169 miles

► 24.1 MPG overall for the entire 350 mile test today, including a little 4-low action and Off Road 2 height on the Quadra-Lift (some, not a lot)

For those who know the area I crawled up and down the steep switchback bypass a few times shown in Google Maps here: https://goo.gl/maps/fDK0v. That's definitely 4-low, high clearance action.

Like I said, so far so good!

What is the TSB number. Just got the code for the 2nd time (2014 with 10,300 miles). I want to walk into the dealer this time with the TSB in hand and don't want any excuses (they have been good so far). 1st time they did an update. What am I in for next?
