I need to tow but didn't want a truck. I chose this over a Touareg TDI. On paper, I absolutely made the right choice. In reality, I'm starting to get a queasy feeling now that I'm well into the base warranty. The Town & Country minivan I'm in right now is doing nothing to quiet my stomach. But at least it will get me to Wal-Mart for a jumbo bottle of Pepto.

Plus we need to know if the are going to do a vin swap on the note or I have to refinance. More waiting imagine that..... This BS has only been going on since January. We sure are tired of it.
Well Chrysler customer Care is going to give me a 7/100 Zero deductible warranty to replace the one I have. I just have to put in for a refund for the current one. Chrysler Capital said I can do a collateral swap. I got all this from ME making phone calls. ISG would point to the dealer and the dealer would point to ISG. Still waiting for one of them to contact Chrysler Capital to show proof of financing before then will send someone out to do the swap. I am not sure how much more painful they can make this process but the are. My word of advise. Just ask for your money back. I am SICK of JEEP and Chrysler. We have been nice to everyone we have dealt with because it is not their fault we got a POS but then sure could help by communicating.

Sorry it's been so painful for you. My replacement SRT went much smoother, but only because I had a good sales manager that pushed hard to get the swap done. He contacted my bank for the collateral swap, my insurance company, and the state. I didn't have to do a thing other than sign a few forms. ISG actually contacted me a yesterday saying they have the paper work ready and can move forward with the swap??? I've had my new vehicle since last Saturday. ISG is supposed to be the ones coordinating this whole thing yet are always two steps behind. I called my sales manager about ISG's email to me and he just said not to worry about it, it's handled. I'm feeling very fortunate to have found a better dealership. Good luck going forward.

Re: MIL & P20EE again & again & again...

So after driving my jeep again for the last day and half... I'm think I'm gonna keep it for awhile longer unless I get another CEL pop up. It's just a great vehicle.... and that's after test driving some Mercedes and some Audis. I admit I really like the A6 with the supercharged 6 though.

Re: MIL & P20EE again & again & again...

After 26,000 miles I finally got the dreaded P20EE00 code. Hopefully the dealer will get a new CAT in next week. Getting a new CAT - yea, hopefully that is all I will need.

Assuming they don't bust anything in the process of replacing your cat, that should do it. But plan for the worst. There evidently are a lot of delicate parts that have to be dealt with when the cat's replaced.

EDIT: Just found out from my dealer that the O2 sensor is back ordered. Lovely.

I think I'd be calling FCA. Many are getting them much faster than that.

Dealer hasn't been able to fit me in until this coming Thurs. Meanwhile Incorrect DEF detected. It must be a faulty sensor since I've used the same brand for 17,500 miles. Peak DEF sold everywhere.

I am not sure if they redesigned the internals, but in my opinion only thing they can do is to increase the flow through the DPF, but this will reduce his efficiency, thus EPA problems.
This is after MIL came on at 17,000 i'm pretty sure it is same issue as everyone here is facing.

Re: MIL & P20EE again & again & again...

To all: Are these issues just with the 2014's?
I have a 2015 with a delivery taken at the middle of February 2015. I just drove across the country and back to pick up a Canadian built trailer. The Jeep performed excellent solo as well as towing the trailer back. I put on 5000miles in 12 days. I think I probably have the new Cat system as my built which I ordered in Oct 2014 didn't arrive to Feb 2015. Delay was blamed on Government paperwork and the famous paint shop shut down. I heard the paperwork was for the emissions system.
