I have a 2015 with a delivery taken at the middle of February 2015. I just drove across the country and back to pick up a Canadian built trailer. The Jeep performed excellent solo as well as towing the trailer back. I put on 5000miles in 12 days. I think I probably have the new Cat system as my built which I ordered in Oct 2014 didn't arrive to Feb 2015. Delay was blamed on Government paperwork and the famous paint shop shut down. I heard the paperwork was for the emissions system.
2014 here. my MIL came on at 17,000 miles. everything was trouble free before then. even after the MIL came on I was still able to put 600 miles on it. now the incorrect DEF warning message has turned to engine will shut off in 200 miles. same Peak DEF I've used from 100 miles on the odo.

Just sharing: I have driven 6,400 miles since my P20EE went away on its own. Original (Nov. 2013) CAT. Current odometer is 14,166 miles.

Re: MIL & P20EE again & again & again...

I had P20EE for quite a while back in the winter. They put a new Cat in and I haven't had any check engine lights [knock on wood].

Re: MIL & P20EE again & again & again...

Had the P20EE pop up about 2 weeks ago at 17k. Took it to the dealer and the first guy said he'd never seen that code, cleared it, turned the car back on and since it didn't pop up again right away said I should be good to go. I knew that was BS, but thought I'd give it a try.

1 day later the code is back. Went in again, talked to a different guy who said a few other customers have had the issue, and for them they've always had to replace the cat given software updates never solved the problem. They ordered the parts which came in in just a few days. Took it in 6 days ago and they did the replacement that day.

The following day on my way home the light comes back on and I hear a whining/whistling sound from underneath somewhere, most pronounced under acceleration. Took it in sat AM and since there was no diesel mechanic that day and a holiday weekend, he'd look at it Tuesday. Fast forward to yesterday when I call in for an update around noon. I'm told the light went away on its own and there is no noise, so nothing to do.

I go pick her up, and on the drive home about 20 min down the road here comes the light and I can definitely hear the noise again. Taking it back in today to see. Hopefully somebody there can admit there is an issue and try to find a solution. So frustrating......

Still waiting for one of them to contact Chrysler Capital to show proof of financing before then will send someone out to do the swap. I am not sure how much more painful they can make this process but the are. My word of advise. Just ask for your money back. I am SICK of JEEP and Chrysler. We have been nice to everyone we have dealt with because it is not their fault we got a POS but then sure could help by communicating.
ISG rep called and said the swap is suppose to happen tomorrow. Dealership keeps trying to get me to do a trade and refinance type deal and I keep telling him we are ONLY going to do a collateral swap. I let ISG know the dealer has not even contacted Chrysler Capital about the collateral swap and if the swap doesn't happen tomorrow then I will pursue a refund or Lemon Law refund. The gloves are coming off. Tired of the BS games.

The service coordinator said a 1 week wait at first, but in the same breath stretched it to 2 weeks. I'll call them at the end of May if it's not in. BTW, they said no driveability issues.
Received a letter today, the parts are in. The Cat (68243268AB) and a Diesel Exhaust Fluid Inject Gasket (68234976AA). I have an appointment for 6/9. Is there anything else I need to know or check with them on?

My sales manager just did the collateral swap. He said it seemed like the simplest way of doing it. He mentioned there were more options, but they were far more complicated. Sounds like yours has got you going down another avenue. The collateral sway only took a few minutes to complete and we were on our way, it couldn't have been any easier. Hopefully you can get your dealership to cooperate.

Re: MIL & P20EE again & again & again...

ddave -- TSB 18-023-15a was released today. Not sure if it's new software for the MIL or not--it's still coded as a previous RRT that is a couple of months old-- but because of the newness of the TSB, make sure the tech checks the software and updates it if necessary. Here is the link: http://www.wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_1802315a.pdf.

The cat is harder to come by than the software. Get the cat. They'll probably update the software anyway as a precaution because the TSB references an RRT number from March. This means the update is supposed to be done when the vehicle is next in for service. Plus, I doubt that the software alone would be anything but a temporary fix. I've kept my software up to date and the cat still failed at just over 16,000 miles, which seems to be about when these cats go bad.

Re: MIL & P20EE again & again & again...

Got the MIL from the p20ee error 2 weeks ago and had it flashed. 5 days ago it came back and took it into the dealership this morning. They applied the newest tsb that was released today and everything was good to go.... So I thought. On the way home the MIL came back along with the incorrect def see dealer message. Taking it back tomorrow. They said Chrysler has to authorize ordering a new cat so I'm hoping that happens tomorrow. I'm expecting them to not want to do anything and claim I used bad def even though it was refilled 3500 miles ago.
