SO I had originally had 18-018-14 done last year to correct my "oil maintenance" since it was jacked from the go (had to change oil at like 3k based on its reading). So they do it, I get my oil changed and it seems fine. Pretty on target for a 10k change based on EVIC.

So I get my oil changed 3 weeks ago, and now it is hosed again. 350 miles and oil life is now reading 79% on the EVIC.

Anyone else had this issue?

I do see that they released a new TSB...but seriously.

No issues here before or after the flash, so I may not be a good test case.

So no new codes, but when I was loading up the back of the jeep today I noticed these.

There is also a white residue on the bottom of both mufflers. I have had all the updates as of last week per dealership, but I didn't get my last service ticket to confirm. My MPG hasn't been great since my jeep went into the shop (massive fuel pump failure), and I have had an issue smelling diesel in the cabin (I figured it was the TSB but given that the dealership had to replace my entire fueling system after the catastrophic fuel pump failure I took it in immediately). The dealership looked it over and they found nothing out of place. I haven't smelled diesel since then. These white spots have appeared in my garage since then. They are directly below the exhaust. They have to be urate crystals from the DEF. I spilled some previously and that is exactly how it looked.

Anyone else noticed this? I am at 4,440 miles since getting the jeep back which included a new injector and CAT.

Does anyone have any information on parts for this fix? Dealer says that a part is on back order with no current time frame for delivery. They may have said that it is the DEF injector that is on back order.

Same thing happened to me when I dropped the car off for the new cats. Tech stripped the fitting for the particulate matter sensor. Was told on back order took 24 days to get. Originally was told would take 2 days, the jeep was in the shop 30 days. Scr cat, def injector and I'm not sure what else's is needed. Hope you have better fortune. You can escalate by calling Chrysler customer service and they may be able to expedite the parts.

My Jeep is not at the dealer. The dealer just cleared the code and we have been driving it for local errands, but don't want to get to the point where we only have 200 miles before no start. At least not before the parts are available, so we are opting to drive other vehicles for now.

Re: MIL & P20EE again & again & again...

My Eco Diesel was finally admitted on Sat after the PCM update, which failed to keep MIL/CEL off for more than three days. Took almost two weeks to get back into the shop, held by lack of loaner car. They gave me a tatty 52000 mile 07 Liberty.

I think FCA is over their heads on this. Keep making sales records with the JGC and taking share from other luxury brands but the service side is behind on capacity and quality.

Hoping this is the first and last big fix.

I notice a def stain in my garage a few day before we turned in our Jeep. It seemed to be below we the cat was located. Never got under the Jeep to see because I just didn't care any more.

Mine was out for nearly three weeks. Took almost a week to get a new cat. Tech broke the O2 sensor replacing the cat. The O2 sensor took another two weeks to get. Parts are scarce. Not only do sales appear brisk, we're competing with Ram 1500 owners experiencing the same problems.

What worries me is that I have had the new cat in place, and the updates.

Did they also replace the injector with the cat? My dealer said they replace them both because the seals can get messed up when replacing the cat.
