Where else can you get a rig that's so off-road capable, can tow well, and is this luxurious and yet will get 34 MPG at 65 MPH, and 45 MPG at 55 MPH?? Alright who drives 55, but still it can achieve that!

Think of the overall picture, guys, not the fly in the ointment. I still love my JGC.
Never seen those kind of numbers. Must be the gas on the West coast

Echo, don't get me wrong, I truly like tha Jeep, , had an HEMi 2011 Overland, had ZERO issues with it ( with over 70K miles ) , was probably the best SUV I have ever owned...And lets say, I had quite a few...to reference with

And are you adding anything to your fuel to get those numbers?

Hi Morax, no fuel additives.

I reported these numbers in another thread. Short distances (3-5 miles), level ground, near sea level, little to no wind:

@85 MPH ==> 25 MPG
@75 MPH ==> 28 MPG
@65 MPH ==> 34 MPG
@55 MPH ==> 45 MPG

These MPG numbers are as displayed on the EVIC.

Next month I have a 2,000 mile road trip to Phoenix next month (LA, Grand Canyon & Vegas too). I plan to test at longer distances and see what I get. I usually think of "official" MPG numbers based on a full tank and hand-calculated numbers, not EVIC-displayed data.

Speaking of Phoenix, I'm going to Chase Field for the D-Backs home opener. If anyone here is also going and want to meet at the park for a quick beer, handshake and hello, PM me.

Re: MIL & P20EE again & again & again...

I just updated my signature to summarize my P20EE battles, in case that info is helpful to anyone (but it's more data than anyone probably wants!). The problem seems to be fully cleared - fingers crossed. So far I'm at 13,379 since the last fix so that's about a month and 1,000 clear miles.

Like I said, fingers are crossed. And yes Morax I love this rig!

Edited: I earlier posted 'maybe 2,000' trouble-free miles. That was a SWAG, this time I looked it up in my rig's log book.

So when they finish updating the cat, do they leave the Rev e update in place or go back to the normal revision?

Or is it safe to say the Rev e code is the latest flash whether you have these issues or its a new build out of the factory?

They never told me they rolled back the rev, and I ask detailed questions when I picked it up, so I believe it is left in place.

Why would they roll Rev-e back? Rev-e doesn't even fix anything related to SCR/NOX over Rev-d. The only items added in Rev-e is AC duty cycle and EGR cleanup routine.

Echo, you give four dates, did they try an update every time until you were at rev E? TIA

I got rev E either the first date or the second. Not sure, will have to ask when I got back to dealership on Friday the 13th because my FCW/ACC front radar is experiencing poltergeist. Or I'll dig up the paperwork.

I do know the third date was for the cat converter, and the fourth date was also for the cat converter because one of its pin connectors wasn't fully seated at the third service date.

Will report back if I get more details.

Thanks for the info, just wondering what idiotic answer I might get tomorrow when I go to the dealer to have them checkout my second P20EE code...

Morax I hope it goes well for you this trip to the dealership. Let us know how it goes.

Well, I just got back from the dealer, for the AIR Cabin filter TSB and my new MIL, they opened a star case and my new CAT is on order. Let the waiting games begin! At least I'm on tha list!
