From what I've observed people saying and the general consensus, if you made it past 30k miles you're relatively in the clear.

64,000 miles and not one problem. All stock except for a AFE 7 air filter

Re: Motor Bricked at 19,600 miles..

I just reached a settlement with FCA to effectively repurchase my rig for what I paid for it including incidentals. It's a bittersweet moment because, while I'm satisfied with the terms we reached, I lament the loss of a fine vehicle and the measures I was forced to take to get a resolution.

This will effectively end my chiming in on this topic, much to the relief of those who I'm sure have grown tired of me restated the facts and recounting my experience.

I'll still be around on the JK forum since I still have a MY14 Rubicon which has, so far, been trouble free.

If anyone is interested in greater detail just send me a PM.

Good luck to all of you who are trying to work out your repair issues. And to all of you who haven't had any problems with your EcoDiesel, I wish you continued trouble-free motoring.

Congrats on finally getting a resolution. Hopefully whatever you replace it with is trouble free (as you have certainly paid your dues into the Karma can). Good luck!

I'm in the middle of a divorce and your trials, tribulations and outcome sound very similar. You cannot tolerate the current situation, you move to end it knowing the process will be painful and the end result will be the best, yet still cause you some regret & heartache.

Honestly, my divorce was a cakewalk compared to this. We had no kids and no property so we divided the debt, shook hands and went our own separate ways. Took less time too. Keeping a good thought for you MSDH. No matter how "easy" it appears divorce sucks.
