Are you guys quoting calculated mpg or what the screen tells you. I've never a cars computers be less than exaggerated. In my G8 it was around 2 mpg higher than actual. My girl's A5 reads higher and I hear this trend from other car owners.

Re: MPG with 2wd & factory tow package

I quit hand calculating MPG after I saw the numbers where within 1%. Jeep got it right with their metering calculation.

FYI, the EVIC can read different vs a per tank hand calc. The EVIC using a rolling 300 mile average and a tank is 600+ miles. If the first half of the tank was all city followed by a 300 mile highway trip, the EVIC will show the highway trip only by the end of the trip. I reset my trip meter to restart the mpg calc on trips.
