M shipping my 2014 ecodiesel and customs requires the engine number. Anyone have an idea of how I can easily track down this number?

I'm at the dealership right now and have had 4 technicians looking over it. No luck so far. I called Chrysler, and best they could give me was " behind the alternator mounting bracket" and "on the valve cover." Was told that the plant could have the info but Chrysler customer service has no way of contacting them.

I've been hearing this from a few different places but when we had it up on a lift I couldn't see any sticker around the alternator. Well I should say that I told the tech it should be behind the alternator and he said that it wasn't there. I'll jack up the quadralift tomorrow and crawl under it to see if I can see anything.

The dealership showed me a print out if the same thing. But 4 of their techs were unable to locate it. They resorted to telling me that the top two were the part number and the serial number but I have the feeling that they didn't want to look any more. I called Chrysler and asked them the location of the sticker and they said behind the generator mounting bracket and on the valve covers. It is not present in either location. Has anyone else with a ecodiesel found the location of this sticker. I wonder if it is possible that it wasn't placed at the factory.
