I did not have to go for emissions testing as of yet. In CT, 2014 year vehicles are yet to receive test dates (according to the program website they are currently not required to be tested). My reporting is based on my OBD scanner. Torque can show you your readiness monitors and for a few $ you can get one yourself and personally verify that you are ready for the test. I had another vehicle that I had to test which was stored with the battery disconnected. Once you disconnect battery power to the ECU, all readiness monitors reset to "not ready". Using my OBD scanner I knew exactly when I am ready to go for emissions testing and had no surprises at the testing center.
