1. Trans shudder
2. decreased MPG

And I find it funny that their engineer told me that the previous TSB were never intended to fix the problems. Just decrease symptoms until they found/tested new fixes.

Important update, thanks... likely explains the delay in new 2015 model production...

Was told that the delay is because Chrysler shifted all V6 diesels toward 1500 Ecodiesel production.

I wonder if the RAM Diesel pickup rate is higher than the JGC.

Does anyone know any official pickup percentages of diesel vs the gas engines? The diesel is so suiting to a large heavy off-road SUV I can't believe more people don't get it.

I was being sarcastic about deruning and raising the shift points...and yes it does defeat the purpose.

Theory #13: The learning algorithm is flawed. I'm don't drive consistently. Sometimes I run it hard...at WOT. Other times, I'm hypermiling. The battery reset has helped in the past but it seems to come back after a few weeks.

People are scared of the higher cost and higher cost of fuel. I also think they would sell more if it was an option on all the JGC.

But WHY? If it's all mechanical, it wouldn't behave this way. It would follow temperature and be consistant. It seems to be something with the timing of clutches that get corrected with a reset, then return over time. That should be correctable via programming.

I was playing around with RPM, throttle position, and manual shifting and got it to repeat the shudder. I'm going to pull F60 to reset and test my theory tomorrow.

I really apreciate your time working (or fighting) with Jeep to help force them to address this issue. Hopefully you can see it through! I really like my Jeep despite the year 1 bugs...but I do want resolution. I believe diesel power is the way forward for heavier utility vehicles. They just need to get it right.
