New Owner

Picked up a 2014 Overland with the 3.0 and it is awesome!! Granite Crystal with the Indigo/Brown interior. Very happy so far.

First diesel and haven't had a Jeep since high school (Wrangler) so I'm in for a big change from the Nissan Frontier I'm coming from.

Been checking out the threads and am curious if anyone has swapped out the stock tires for something more aggressive like the GY Wrangler All Terrain Adventures or something similar. Not many choices in 265/50/20 so I wonder if a 275/55/20 would work well (already looked at the conversions and it doesn't seem like there would be too many issues.

Happy to be a part of this community!

Happy Holidays!

Re: New Owner

Check out the Nitto Terra Grapplers, they are about as aggressive as you can go without adding tons of noise.

Re: New Owner

I didn't even think of Nitto! Checked GY/Dunlop, Mich., Falken, Hancook, Bridgestone, etc. with no luck on the 265/50/20.

Thanks!

Re: New Owner

I actually went with the Nitto's as they are made in USA. Fairly quiet tire too for as aggressive of a tread.

Re: New Owner

Congrats on your new ride!

There's a pretty big thread on the Nitto TG's here:

20" Nitto Terra Grapplers

I'm running them OEM optional size 265/50r20 and like them, though they are more noisy as expected than the stock 18s I took off, but not bad. I posted a few pics in that thread.

The ride is a bit harder than the 18s too but if you went to 275/55 as you mentioned it would probably be better than 265/50, and more off road worthy
