Just picked up a Black on Black High Altitude Edition Ecodiesel today and I must say I'm impressed. Coming from driving BMW diesels since 08, I wanted something that was a little for rugged than the X5 diesels I've owned and wanted to change it up a bit. I was ready to pull the trigger on a regular Overland a month ago but was not totally in love with the chrome and overland stamp in the seats and the color on the plastic trim inside. Little things yes, HAE solved most of my wants. I only wish I was able to get the Quarda Drive II on the beast. One thing that is better over the BWW on the way home is the ACC. It's a much smoother system then what is in our 328d.
Anyone have any suggestions on rock rails that will work for this vehicle. Other threads are saying DEF plumbing gets in the way on later models.
