installed a drop in afe 'dry' filter and a hot tune from gde. I have done the diesel thing before from 1st gens cummins to the last which was a slightly modified 2006 (5.9).
first, i love my 2015 limited ecodiesel. couple quirky kinda crap, but overall a very nice vehicle. i didnt like the intail feel of the engine engaging and pulling like the diesel was supposed to. definetly needs to be dialed in from the factory if the want to compete with the germans...
with the new tune and drop in filter, the difference was not like i expected, i actually thought it might pull a little more, but it was much better than stock. it does solve one thing that everyone is complaining about and that is that lack of response when you press the accelerator, whether it be the wot type or gently merging into traffic. i like it. i think this is a no brainer for anyone with an ecodiesel, whether it a ram or jeep... will keep my eye on the mpg, but i was doing this to feel more performance.
have more items on order, so this will be a process.
it is now the vehicle i wanted.
