My local dealer said he spoke with his Mopar parts guy to confirm if the 2014 Rock Rails are the same for the 15 and the response is that they are not compatible with the JGC 15 Diesel due to some brackets or something. Is this true? Has anyone installed these with the new DEF factory skid plate which I assume is what they are talking about. I'm bummed since I was looking forward to the protection. Maybe it is the DEF wire harness which routes under the frame rail gets in the way?
But my issue is that I want to pay the quoted 2.5 hours of labor for the dealer rather than get all frustrated spending a Saturday screwing around with it (I watched the YouTube). Plus, if it truly does not fit then I will really be disappointed.
If anyone HAS installed then a picture showing how it clears the DEF injection area would be awesome so I know what I am getting into if I have to install myself if the dealer sticks with what they are being told.

Personally I am very pleased I did not try and fit them myself. I think if you just use Doms full DEF shield, instead of the recent quick fix added by Jeep, you should be OK. I'm pretty sure someone on one of these forums has the bars on a 2015.
Well my 2015 is currently at an out of town dealer under repair. Once it returns home I have a set of Rockrails ready to be installed..by my local dealer...I, do not anticipate any issues. The OEM Def plate has been removed on mine and DOM plate installed instead.
There have been a few 2014 owners have these installed and honestly, other the factory plate, I am not aware of any other changes that would affect the install.
I totally agree that 2.5 hours is laughable and that is exactly why I want to pay them. I do believe they have done this work and I think it is just one of those factory service labor hours that the computer tells them to charge.
Yes, that is exactly the ones. Do you have the DEF skid? Any pics of the underside? Did you install yourself or have the dealer do it? Thanks in advance!
No, I just search to see what it was that you were looking at and found those for sale at that website and I must say that I do like them and I may now want a set in the near future. I will have to look at the install video to see what all is required to install them.
Thank you for asking a question about them as I know found the running boards that I want to help my kiddos get into the GC
Ok, today I got my Rock Rails installed by the dealer finally! They really struggled to get them on. Only paid for three hours labor but I bet they spent 10 hours. I was just glad they didn't give up.
Mine is done now too! I'll take some pics tomorrow. My guy says est 5 hours
Looks great. Just have to muck about with my front splash guards to modify for fit.
They are the Mopar molded type.
Word of advice. If you plan on using them as side steps, put some texture on them for grip. They can get slippery when wet or icy. My wife took a tumble and fell straight back, but she's not the most graceful woman out there.
I have not posted any pics of mine since it looks identical to post #9 above. I am very pleased with the Mopar fit and full coverage of the rock rail. I like how the tube part sticks out slightly beyond the wheel and body width so I know it will actually provide protection as it is intended.

Here's some pics I posted in another thread. I haven't sorted out the mudflap issue yet.
I have been investigating alternate brand as opposed to modifying the mopar molded ones.
I can see the AB are missing from the second number, I'm just trying to find the best deal on these sliders. Justforjeeps.com and moparamerica.com when you add in shipping are both around $950 for the 82212157AB. However I found the 82212157 on Amazon with free shipping for $875-894.
