OFF ROAD II and ADV tech packages

Hello,
I did factory order for an Overland Diesel GC with OFF ROAD II and ADV tech packages last week.
I am wondering upon delivery date, How can I make sure that my car has OFF road II package? from specs I can see the following details :

-Off-Road Adventure II -inc: Tires: P265/60R18 BSW AS On/Off Road, Fuel Tank Skid Plate Shield, Wheels: 18" x 8.0" Aluminum Polished, Transfer Case Skid Plate Shield,
Underbody Skid Plate, Trail Rated Badge, Front Suspension Skid Plate w/EXF,EZH-inc: Selec-Speed Control

How do I know that the car has Selec-Speed Control?

-Advanced Technology Group -inc: Advanced Brake Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control w/Stop, Blind Spot & Cross Path Detection, Forward Collision Warning Plus

Re: OFF ROAD II and ADV tech packages

You know what's included in the packages... simply look for those items.

The easiest way to check for ORAII is to look at the tire size. If they're P265/60R18 then you have it. Without ORAII the Overland has 20 inch wheels.

Adaptive cruise control has what looks like a large camera lens centered in the lower grille area under the front bumper.

Those two things alone should visually confirm that you have both packages.

You can download the latest owners manual from Jeep Owners | Download an Owners Manual 2004 - 2011 | Jeep to find out how everything operates. Despite what the link says here they have everything from 2004-2015.

Re: OFF ROAD II and ADV tech packages

Mines a Limited ORA2 but Im pretty sure yours will have 18" rims, a trail rated badge, and skid plates underneath. It will also have the QuadrDrive II 4wd which basically means the rear axle has the Electronic Locking Limited Slip (ELSD) option. Also, the left rear most button on the center console should have an icon of a Jeep. That's the select-speed button...although mine is hill descent only since it's an older build 2014.

Re: OFF ROAD II and ADV tech packages

I suggest that on the test drive, you put it in the nearest pond. If you make it out, it has ORA II. If not, have then order you a new one.

Does select-speed button look differently than hill descent button?
Why yours does not have select-speed ?

Mine was one of the first NA diesels off the line. Hill decent was all we got. Select-speed was added in Jan 2014, I think.

My button looks like a Jeep going downhill. Select speed is similar but the Jeep icon is on level ground. Someone else can confirm this, I'm sure.

Like this?

I have an early build as well. My Jeep icon points downhill so I only have hill descent control.

This means that all 2015 with off road package have Selec speed control. Do they also have hill decent and hill ascent control as well?

Isn't the combo of both features what Selec-speed is?
