Glad it works for you! Mines still holding perfect after 5000 miles. I get about a tablespoon of oil every 1000 miles.

Ya, looks like the code I had maybe been a ghost code or one that was stored. After it went away by itself I haven't gotten another one.

It doesn't throw codes but the Berger doesn't seem to catch a ton of oil. Either the long routing I'm using is making it harder for the oil to make its way to the can or the design just doesn't catch as much. It seems to be catching more heavier sludge type oil versus the metal mesh one I had caught more normal viscosity oil. I guess there is a trade-off of quantity caught vs code. I'll keep monitoring and report.

Re: oil catch can

Glad to hear the Berger CC is working out
good news here, using MoparEcoDiesel setup, with Billet Technology CC, no pending or active codes. Only have 50 miles so far but so far so good
will post photos as soon as possible, also working on getting ARB air compressor mounted

Re: oil catch can

Got about 600 miles on my Berger in a '15 ecodiesel. Full throttle launches up to about 80. WOT tests at 7800', no codes yet. Used 3/4" heater hose. I might redo it with 7/8" silicone hose if I get around to it. I'll open it up at 1k miles and check the quantity caught.

I have about 3500 miles on my Berger now. No codes and catching oil!

Thanks for the location idea. I just installed mine today. It fits perfectly inside a beer coozie, which also keeps it from rattling around.

oil catch can

Finally hard mounted my Berger catch can. After 1150 miles I had a bit over a tsp.

It's just below the height of the stock lines so I feel at least that might contribute to catching more oil. In either case, the AFE CAI made that spot pretty feasible to mount to.

Re: oil catch can

Just got my Burger catch can. Considering where to mount it and I found two spots that I like. What do you think?

I like the mounting in post #132. He used the hose that came with the kit and the stock hose. Genius!
