My Limited was built on 12 Sep 13 and shipped with the "Hill Descent Control" button with the arrow pointing downward, and a "BNHP" build code. I would like to add this feature if possible, and I wanted to know if you had your build code for "Select Speed" and your build date.

Thanks for any help!
Indeed, my limited diesel build date 4/14, but I don't know where the build code would be? I did opt for the ORA2 package, if that matters.

ORAII pack adds Quadra Drive II, Quadra Lift, tow package and badges / skid guards (except for the DEF injector ). I've got a similarly optioned diesel as well. Lux II & ORA II packages and the optional engine block heater (not sure why this is not standard equip on the diesel) and a late March 14 build date.

Re: Oppo Review Of GC

My icon on my early October build diesel looks like a Jeep going down a hill. Hill decent assist, I assume. The icon in the reviewer's picture is angled different. So what is "Select Track"?

I think you mean Selec-Speed but essentailly when enabled, it will maintain a set speed when going uphill or downhill in off road conditions. Speed is determined by the paddle shifter. Something like 1 is 1 mph, 2 is 2.5 mph or something similar.

From the WK2jeeps site: New Selec-Speed Control with Hill-ascent and Hill-descent Control allows drivers to control Grand Cherokee's speed both up and down steep, rugged grades with the steering wheel paddle shifters - without the need for throttle or brake pedals (late availability on EcoDiesel).

Re: Oppo Review Of GC

Thanks. Sounds like a neat feature. So, is it a flashable update or hardware? I assume its hardware.
