P2002 Diesel Particulate Filter Efficiency Below Threshold bank 1

Hello
I bought an 2014 Ecodiesel JGC. I made a great deal $, but I came with two errors. Exhaust filter full, and electronic throttle control, it was on Limp mode. All of this with just 18km. I fix it with a reprogramming of the computer, updates, and adjusting the throttle by software. After all of the fixing was done. the car came up with the check engine light. p2002 error came on, Diesel Particulate Filter Efficiency Below Threshold bank 1. clean up the filter, and it was fixed, after that it came the P2200 error NOx Sensor Circuit Bank 1. a lot of soot was detected in the cleaning process. Now I have the p2002 error again. I dont know what else to do. Im getting each error like about 50 miles.

I just ordered some DPF additive and cleaner, and generator to add to the fuel tank.

I quote the DPF and is $2900 plus tax.

The car was like one year stop at the dealer. Should I need to change the oil, can ash could be the problem. car is just 2000 miles.

anyone can help out what to do to fix this problem?

what could happen if a use the car with this problem? The car regulation and emissions test of my country went great! all good.

will wait for any advice from you thanks.

Re: P2002 Diesel Particulate Filter Efficiency Below Threshold bank 1

Sounds like the dpf is blocked. There was an ongoing issue with the dpfs where apparently the filter was coated in a film during manufacture that required a regen burn to clean off. So many dealers were doing manual dpf burns before delivery to make sure it didn't go into limp mode.

Do you have a dealer nearby?

I don't know of anyway to trigger a manual dpf regen other than using the witech controller that dealers have.

You could be damaging the motor driving it with a blocked dpf, there will be a lot of back pressure in the exhaust.

Re: P2002 Diesel Particulate Filter Efficiency Below Threshold bank 1

hello
thanks for the fast response.

Yes the dpf was blocked and the NOx sensor a lot of soot.
I cant take it to the dealer, the vehicle was imported by me, so no warranty and no service for 5 years or a $10.000 fee to get service.

I bought a new dpf. I saw it was part number 68243370AB, so I guess something was fixed from AA to AB. I know there is a new part AC. so I guess something else was fixed from AB to AC.
Do I need to do something before a install the new one?

No ultra low sulphur diesel available in my country

Your new DPF will again die quickly without ULSD. I would contemplate a delete pipe and a custom tune from GDE. Since you're not in the US, Keith at GDE may be able to sell you a delete tune without getting into hot water.

Yep, I'd be looking to delete the dpf.

Yeah, look up PPEI tuning as well for a dpf delete tune.
