P20E8 & P1220 CEL today

2014 Ecodiesel with GDE Hot Tune. I got engine light on today. Checked with my code reader had both P20E8 and P1220(Throttle Position Sensor 2 Circuit) stored. Reset with Torque App(2) times. Keeps coming back on. Any information on what I need to do with these. Engine runs just fine. Don't want to lose my Hot Tune. Thanks.

Give GDE a call and ask for their opinion.

Do you drive using both feet (i.e. have foot on gas and brake at same time)? I will get a service elec throttle error code from time to time.

No. I found the problem. I have a pinched DEF line & wire harness from the tank to the injector. It got pinched between the body of the vehicle and the frame, rubbed until it sprung a leak. I have DEF corrosion spray everywhere back there at the rear axle on back.

Any idea how it got pinched?

It worked it's way between the upper body of the vehicle and the under carriage. See pictures I took. The smashed wire loom contains the DEF line and heat tape that keeps it from freezing. I would've just put in a splice connector if it hadn't the heat tape around it.

That's back by the tank, right? I wouldn't have thought to look back there. I was expecting it to be around the injector area.

Yes back by the tank area. Just in front of the rear axle. I have my injector and line up front protected with a plate installed(Dom's Plate). Well worth the money.
