P225D MIL Came On

Was driving yesterday and the MIL lamp came on and was away from home and drove it another 50 miles and MIL is still on but no other warnings or messages (nothing on the EVIC). Did not act weird or go into limp mode.

Ran it over to the parts store this morning to read the code which came out to be P225D (NOX signal stuck low). I erased the code and the MIL is gone.

Nothing I could find in a search on jeepgarage for this code so not sure if it's related to the 18-018-14 REV. C TSB. This came out on 07/04/14 released and applies to vehicles built on or before 6/18/14 (of which mine is a March 2014 build) where it notes some issues related to erroneous trouble codes that were not issues at all.

Hoping that it's just an errant code that just needed to be cleared.

Re: P225D MIL Came On

Just an update - 2 days and 150 miles later it did not throw a code so I think it was related to the TSB that noted it may throw an errant code sometimes.

Re: P225D MIL Came On

The "D" revision of the same TSB states that it may be a possible incorrect MIL as well.
