Positive JGC Diesel Thread

ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1406472470.119354.jpg

This has been my best all around vehicle.

Great towing.

Comfortable.

Very smooth German 8 speed transmission that is intuitive and best of both worlds with Eco vs sport mode.

Every electronic option.

Stable on the highway.

Just enough intake noise to let you know what's cooking under the hood.

Great mileage.

Good looks.

Amen brother !

I echo those sentiments...it is a great highway cruiser plus it gets great gas mileage for a honking great 4x4 SUV!

No problems, issues or complaints in almost 10k miles.

LOL... not to dis the diesel, burst anyone's bubble or start an argument, but...

All of the attributes you list apply as well to the V6 and/or V8 gas GC's.

Had the 2011 JGC. It was great as well. Just didn't like 13 mpg.

You really hope to do all three of those things. Otherwise there was no reason for that statement in a thread titled, " Positive JGC Diesel Thread".

The two gassers both have some of the attributes listed....but fall short of ALL on the list. The v8 tows well but lacks economy. The v6 has the economy but no grunt to tow comfortably.

Admittedly, the diesel has its limitations... but they aren't the subject of this thread. The OP values most those things the diesel does best....as do I.

Pretty refreshing to see someone else who is happy with his GC and willing to share his positive thoughts.
