Possible new TSB for shifting?

Saw this one online for shifting:

http://www.wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_2103016.pdf

It says it's for 2015, but it specifies a build date between 7.23.2014 and 10.17.2014. Seems like no one knows how to get the official build date unless you call the dealer.

It also says "3.0 gas engine" but I am not aware of any 3.0 "gas", just the 3.0 diesel.

Anyways, the fix literally solves my problem (bolded below). Probably a really dumb question, can they flash it even if it's outside the specified build dates?

3.0L gas engine (Sales Code EHD)
Improved upshift timing.
Improved torque converter engagement.
Improved shift timing during tow mode operation.
Improved shift points during aggressive driving.
Calibration improvement to correct bump feel during 2-1 downshift.
Improved shift timing while in snow, base, and hill modes.

This TSB does not apply to the EcoDiesel. While reading TSB's look for sales code EXF.

Well that's unfortunate. I was really hoping this was my fix. Thanks for the help!

As it doesn't say export models, is there really a 2015 3.0L engine option?

Re: Possible new TSB for shifting?

The build date on mine is listed on the inside door pillar on the driver's door (canadian model).
The only engines are 3.6, 5.7, 6.4 l gas and 3.0 diesel. There has been a flash for the diesel shift-mine was done about 2 months ago. I personally don't think the entire issue is a big one if you pay attention to what the shift indicators say and use the parking brake as its intended.

If you look on the drivers door edge you will see a sticker with the VIN on it. It will also show a "MMDDHH" this stands for "Month, Day and Hour" your Grand Cherokee was built.
Also there is a 3.0L Gas engine that is built for Export only but not all Countries. Hope this helps... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_Pentastar_engine
