No I am in Cedar Park/Austin.

Mark really came through for me expediting my delivery date. I was scheduled for 1/14. I emailed him Thursday when I saw it was unloaded from the railcar asking him if he could pull any strings to have it ready for this weekend since I was planning to be in Houston for the boat show. He said he would call and try to expedite it...sure enough it was loaded up that evening. I really can't express enough how great Mark has made this whole process so far. Hopefully the delivery tomorrow will follow suit.

Re: Production Scheduled to Trim?

Looking forward to hearing your experience hopefully that it was delivered today.
Call me frustrated. I am STILL sitting exactly where I was except on a railcar going no where.
This is truly getting ridiculous...

Oh wait I am someone now. My MOTS just showed it left on a train so maybe 20 JAN is accurate.
Waiting on Grandmaster's news for today....

I did take delivery this morning. Overall it went pretty well. The Jeep was not ready when I got there so the whole deal took a little longer than I expected. I think I was there for 2 hours, so not terrible. Delivery made all the waiting worth while though.

The Jeep is great. Hats off to the guys at JNAP.

Re: Production Scheduled to Trim?

Ha ha well mine did sit out in the cold and the snow at JNAP but hey it is a JGC after all it can take it.
Thanks all and it is close to Houston now. This isn't the beginning of the end but the end of the beginning to quote Winston Churchill.

Re: Production Scheduled to Trim?

Cannot wait until fun2drive gets his hands on his JGC. Reading this post it sounded to me like he must have angered the gods who made his wait so long when his anticipation is so great. I almost felt guilty when I picked up mine after only ordering it a few weeks earlier and right before the holidays.

Often when someone is anxious for something and has to wait for what seems an unbearable period of time before getting what they so desperately want, their feeling when getting it is almost a let down. It is hard for anything to be as good as our imagination can create. Well in this case I do not believe he will have any let down at all.

I really wanted my JGC but part of the decision was out of practicality so I thought I would like it but did not have high hopes that it would be the vehicle of my dreams. Well it has not been too long so the feeling might fade but it is like when you first meed someone who seems to be a perfect match. I cannot wait for my work day to end so that I can drive it again. Last night I was so happy with the way it rides and handles and how comfortable it is that I drove past my exit. I have been getting off that exit 200 times a year for 14 years so normally I will get off that exit without even thinking about it.

I hope Fun2drive writes about his first experience with it because I really want to see how a true believer feels about this vehicle. So far the issues I have with it are strictly related to me but in no way has me even thinking maybe there was something else out there that is better. So hope you get it soon Fun2drive and I am sure that you will be happier than a pig in you know what.

I've given him a hard time since his order timing/wait was pretty close to mine. I'm sure he'll be ecstatic once he is back and pick up his CRD in Houston.
