Quantifying fuel savings in Eco mode

Hi all, I have a 2105 Eco diesel and I'm wondering has anyone quantified the MPG's in Eco mode vs normal mode? I know eco mode is supposed to be good around town but I don't like the sluggishness and the earlier upshifts. I actually enjoy normal mode more. Has anyone got any MPG readings with eco mode vs normal mode? Mike

Looks like no more has figured out if ECO mode really does enhance your MPG.
How do you use eco mode or do you use it at all? Mike

I can't speak for the diesel but it makes a 2+ mpg difference on my gasser. I'd have to assume it would be the same or more on the diesel.

Thank You MDBones. Do you find it a little sluggish in ECO Mode? Do you have a V6 or the Hemi. Mike

I have the gas V6. I use eco mode both in town and out on the highway.

In town, taking off from a stop is fine. If you're moving and need to accelerate a little there is a slight sluggishness... especially if you're in 7th gear and barely turning over 1K rpm's on the tach. That's not a problem for me because I expect that out of this mode.

If you need more than a little acceleration in street traffic it'll downshift and give you what you need without a problem.

Out on the highway I can barely tell the difference in response with eco mode on or off, other than the slight increase in fuel economy.

I have a tendency not to use eco mode much in the winter... I prefer to keep the rpm's up a little so the engine and trans comes up to and maintains a better operating temperature. Fuel economy at this point doesn't matter much because it's going to naturally drop in cold weather or when 4WD is more active on slippery roads.

No problem!

Those are my observations and mpg results. I realize those will vary for everyone else.
