So we've all read of some of the issues experienced by the 2014 owners....:( particularily the earlier builds. Wondering how the 2015 owners are making out....have not seen much said about any troubles?

I have a 2015 CRD Limited that I took deliver of in January. I love it. It's an incredible machine.

Have a couple minor issues that will be covered under warranty:

Left rear seatbelt receiver isn't accepting the buckle. Simple fix.

There's a noticeable whiny notice coming from the HVAC when it's running between settings 2-4. Sounds like a bad fan motor. Hopefully it doesn't cause too much more of an issue.

The tranny is doing a little bit of the shutter/fish bite deal but it sounds like that's a simple programming flash and it's done.

Just gotta find the time to take it in to the dealer and get these issues addressed.

A few items to note:

I've got Dom's plate as my Jeep didn't come with the cheap factory plate. I would have gotten Dom's plate anyhow.

The yellow warning stickers on the sun visors are annoying and I wish they weren't there.

There's a ton of chrome on the car but that's all good. I de-badges everything on the machine excluding the JEEP on the rear.

Otherwise, I am very pleased with the vehicle. Incredible. Handles well and is a great daily driver.

54kms on mine. Picked up today and already noticed the climate control is not quite right. That is passanger will get hot air (set around 25deg) and driver is nice and cool. Cycle all the way to min and back up which seems to fix it.
i know all new cars can have some issues so i,m not going to get to concerned yet.

Just turned 1000 miles and all is well. My first diesel and I was skeptical initially. Pretty pleased to date. Mileage is great if the display is correct.
I'll be tracking mileage on an excel spreadsheet...don't trust the onboard computers much.

So by the sounds of things 2015 is a "good" model year. Minor issues to be expected.
I have the Dom42 DEF plate sitting at home waiting for a JGC to mount on !

10k miles here - no problems other than a bad LED in the headlight. Only real problem worth mentioning is the finnicky HVAC, but that's almost sure to be bad programming - it just never seems to get the temp I want. Either its too warm or too cold, then the weather outside changes by 5 degrees and it flips. Maybe I'm just used to my superb HVAC from my previous Mercury Sable, but Chrysler has a little more research to do when it comes to the HVAC department.

2700 miles and powertrain is fine except the failed engine air filter. Some loose skid plate bolts, a missing plastic rivet, an unpopped plastic rivet, and a minor paint defect in the roof are all cosmetic issues I found.

Mine is a November 2014 build (MY2015).

2015 Limited with no problems so far. Runs great and straight. With that said I do notice periodically something move inside the driver seat. Almost like the motor for the power seats shifts ever so slightly. Nothing major at all and only happens periodically. Up for service this week and gonna mention it to the dealer

RE:paint, my build date was Dec 20/2014, think around that date the old paint booth shutdown. my "tiger stripe" or "shark skin" effect is on DS fender and door somewhat, seems to be a problem dating back to about 2012 on Jeep GC's Durango's and Dodge Rams so Chrysler had lots of time to fix. paint shop locally quoted $3.5K USD to fix fender as it involves doors, hood. Chrysler not jumping with joy about it.

So my own 2015 is having issues with bad...sensors? Loose connectors? Bad ground?
Something electrical at any rate ...others have similar issues and is not isolated to Eco Diesel.

Diagnosis was a loose connector that goes into the side of the transmission.
Was all set to go get car back today, BUT dealer called this morning and advised it now needs a new control module for electronic shifter. Perhaps caused by the loose connection as electronic boards are not well suited to loose wiring, arcing etc. So a few more days wait again.
Geeesssh.

Mines a 2015 Laredo (built Sept 2014...go figure) and running like a charm (touch wood) with just shigh of 3000km on the dial. Still getting used to the light steering and all the cool gadgets - previous truck was a Nissan Patrol - reliable but basic as a house brick. That said I agree with both Nookie & Mrleddy (see below).

Nookie said:
Paint job makes up for that, it's bad - missed it on delivery
There are a couple of minor paint imperfections - not noticeable unless you know they are there then they stick out like buggery. I too wished i'd seen them on delivery instead of picking them up 2 weeks later.

Any way of removing those stickers as they are really beginning to piss me off!?!

Also would like the "power cord cut out moulding" of the centre console to be available on both sides as opposed to the single one meant for L/Hand drive owners.

I just picked up my Limited GC Diesel yesterday. The factory goofed up in the build, as they put the Luxury 2 package on it. Fortunately I didn't have to pay for it ($3000). It took 2 full months from the date I ordered it to the day I received it. Upon inspection at the dealership I found no flaws in the paint or panel fit. I took a close look because of reports I have read here. Even the fuel door was perfectly in line and centered properly.

Options I ordered were the Diesel, adventure 2, CD player, and blue paint. Glad I got the luxury 2 package for free.

So far, so good (knocking on wood) after only 25 miles on the odometer.

Wow. That's amazing. However I doubt there was a mix up with the build. You were probably shipped someone else's build in error as they probably followed each other on the assembly line. Happen to my father many years ago except he got the Mercury Commuter wagon without the options he ordered. Enjoy it and buy some lottery tickets!

Dan,

If you haven't already, verify that the physical vin on the Jeep exactly matches the paperwork that goes to DMV.

Over the years working in insurance we came across a few (very few) vehicles that the vehicle the customer received wasn't correct. One woman stopped for speeding was initially arrested for driving a stolen vehicle. Someone else had received the wrong vehicle also and that one was stolen. She was driving the 'stolen' vehicle. In this case the same dealer sold both, identical, vehicles. Fortunately we insured both vehicles and after three months of battling the DMV and with full cooperation from the dealer that screwed up, and GMAC, (they held both loan) we were able to pay the right person. The woman who had been driving the stolen vehicle for two years eventually got the title.

VERY good advise for everyone Bill_de.

I checked that the paperwork matched, but I have not checked the actual VIN on the vehicle. I will do that today.

I had this issue happen on my last vehicle, and it was a bit of a hassle getting it sorted out.
