Put your X5 in sport mode and find a stretch of curvy roads then a run at 125mph. And do the same in a Grand Cherokee. You'll know where the $20k was spent

June 2014 built, no issues at all after 24000km, just done 3500k road trip over 2 weeks was like driving in your lounge chair. Comfortable, quiet, powerful and did I mention the economy. 8.4L/H sorry all Australian numbers.

True, but in order to do that I would need more options like DHP and bigger wheels which would cost 7k more. Maybe if I lived somewhere in Europe with good quality roads the X5 would be a better option.

Maybe maybe not, it's a big world after all. I tried to explain BMW's chassis engineering ethos and where the incremental $20k in value is over a GC. Anyone who has driven one would likely agree on how a BMW feels through mid corner and corner exit.

Definitely agree with you, but my stock suspension is no match for DHP suspension which really makes the X5 corner. I wouldn't want to push my X5 like that, now if you compare the SRT with X5 with DHP then you have a fair comparison in performance and price.

We absolutely LOVE it.

A friend has a BMW X5, similar age, and has way more issues than I'd ever want incl being carted off on a tilt tray tow truck I think twice??? from memory.

Re: Reliability of the 2015 Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel

Huy, Pinoy, buy the Jeep and with the extra $20K that you save you can buy the extended warranty and still have plenty left over.

I love my 2014 JGC CRD and would buy another in a heartbeat, even though I had some P20EE problems early on.

Good luck!
