It's hard for us to say what your dealer will nix and allow, we have many mod friendly shops for our wrangler program that seem to look the other way. It also depends on what you're going in for. If you're going in for a non functional wiper or the electronics, it will have no effect. If you feel you grenade the drive train, we would assume you would take the necessary steps to reverse out things like this. But we're not raising the boost, we're keeping it cooler, the OEM tuning can correct and keep the engine safe for a mod like this. We don't forecast any danger zones with this mod.

Any chance you know the power differences with just the change in piping? I think that removing the charge "muffler" might free up some hp...

Sadly no (not yet) - the R&D vehicle pictured had to be delivered prior to us doing a full and customary Dyno demo (which we love to do). We're grateful to him for the time but saddened we don't have this info.

However, we would need a second vehicle in our facility to demo the power...

Anyone in NYC please PM us

You know, there is a lot of math behind all of this. Much more than I ever wrapped my head around. But turbo response and overall volumetric efficiency is affected by pipe length, diameter, and every single bend in the charge pipe path. The larger and more efficient intercooler core probably shifts the turbo map ever so slightly and probably adds a couple HP too. Not to mention providing better IAT's and preventing heat soak.

I'd believe dyno runs with a 5-20 hp gain. It really just depends on how much of a restriction the stock pipes or intercooler were to the stock turbo. Again, going back to all that math, it's about pressure and flow. While our computers map x amount of fuel for y amount of psi per drivers request, if we have the same psi but more air flow we can have more complete combustion and increased power at the same time without a remap.

Bottom line, as long as the kits fit well, should be a great upgrade for those don't mind being their own powertrain warranty, or have mod friendly dealerships who use common sense instead of trying to bone the customer at every chance.

This data absolutly applies is every way and that's the basic principle behind this kit. The stock intercooler has much smaller tube and fin's. The bar and plate flows more volume and rapidly dissipates heat.

We anticipate a gain in both HP and torque and given the tuning available for these vehicle we look forward to over all gains.

5? Maybe. 20? No way! I have a feeling the "bottleneck" in making HP is the turbo and until that's removed as a bottleneck other changes will have very little effect on power. BUT that's my personality type - seeing is believing. Until I see dyno or track results, this upgrade is a very pretty one that costs a lot of money.

I hope I'm wrong, I love HP! RIPP - Prove me wrong please!!

Well - yes and no - Heat robs power, as the stock intercooler over heats it starts to rob power. The purpose here is for guys looking to keep sustained HP figures straight. Pass after pass. A guy towing will have significant load (heat) and this mod will maintain heat dissipation over stock as well as flow more air.

Don't forget there are electronic mods available to you that make more power, those along with our FMIC will work magic for HP and Trq.
