This is all or nothing, not pick and choose.

I fully understand the implementation process as well as the fact that it is a all or nothing, as well as future updates that will require the flash to work. However I completely disagree with your opinion about certainty. There are enough users on this and other forums that report their findings, and actions/reactions when a certain fault appears, specific to their vehicle or not. Yes as we are all beta testers for the manufacturers will and whim, but the wonders of social media platforms allows the rapid transmission of information globally.

Hm, I suppose this is a matter of semantics. For example, I am a few revisions behind on my PCM and TCM firmware. Some owners who have received those updates have reported problems, and I currently have none so I perceived no need to update. From my perspective, I will never be "certain that no other systems (besides the four that are being flashed) will be affected" in this type of multiple system upgrade--presuming we are referring here to adverse effects.

I suppose if you choose to define "certainty" as having a 95% confidence interval less than x% for these bundled S25 recall updates causing an issue in your vehicle (or something like that), then yes, you can probably be "certain" after collecting more user experiences.
