I'll try to locate my invoice when I get home tonight to verfy your p/ns.

Ok, I found my order sheet and invoice. Your x-fer case and fuel tank skids are the same number, but the front axle skid I ordered was 82211995. If you go back to post #41 in this thread, GRIM REAPER 76IA noted he ordered the same p/n as I did. However, if you check post #37, Red PeeKay listed both numbers from his Aussie catalog, with yours listed as for the diesel. Not sure that helps a lot, but FWIW.

Re: Skid Plates on Diesel Summit

Thank you. I have the diesel, but the place I ordered online said the part number I gave them was wrong. The said 95 was correct per the vin. Now I am at a loss and they killed me with shipping. I think I will have the local dealer order the stuff....

Re: Skid Plates on Diesel Summit

I got my dealer to come really close to matching the price I could order online. What that meant was, I didn't pay shipping but I did pay Kommifornia state and local sales taxes, so it was almost a wash (I paid about $20 more). IMO, that was worth it to just go over and pick the stuff up when it came in rather than going to the UPS location (signature required) or having the order sit on my porch all day by signing online and taking the risk of them being stolen. Having said that, they have not always been so agreeable to price match other things, so I take one purchase at a time with them.

I am trying to get all of the plates that will fit, but it is confusing with an ecodiesel 4x4. I am thinking front skid 82213094 for Diesel and Fuel tanks 82211999, but what about the transfercase it seems they don't fit or I am reading outdated info... Any help would be appreciated to keep this simple so I can place an order asap. I know there are some aftermarket for the def, but at a loss for the transfer case.

So which parts do I need or do these all work on the diesel 4x4?

1 x Jeep Grand Cherokee Skid Plates - Fuel Tank (82211999)
1 x Jeep Grand Cherokee Skid Plates - Transfer Case (82211994AB)
1 x Jeep Grand Cherokee Skid Plates - Front Axle (82213094)
Those are the right part numbers. The transfer case skid plate has a donut damper that needs to be removed before installing. That is because the exhaust pipe for the diesel gc has a damper welded on it that occupy the same space as the donut damper. There was another online part store that indicate it would be compatible with the diesel gc if damper removed.

The front axle plate 82213094 for the diesel gc has the encapsulation attached to the metal plate which the gasoline gc does not use. The glued on encapsulation mat on the skid plate is a replacement to the OEM encapsulation plate that is to be removed before installing the new skid plate.

Correct; that's what I did.

I was wondering about that. At the time I ordered mine (05-16-14), the gas version was the only one listed in the parts catalog. Someone on here who installed theirs before I did mentioned to remove the donut, as that is not listed in the "instruction" sheet.

Thanks for the additional info, talonx!

Re: Skid Plates on Diesel Summit

So far I did the front one, it looks like getting the 94 as above is the same encapsulation plate already installed. I could have save quite a bit not buying that one and getting the other part. Oh well, put the other in the attic as a spare. Working on the others if we get the tanks low enough on fuel.

Re: Skid Plates on Diesel Summit

I just did this setup on my 2014 GC and noticed when all is said and done there is no protection for the transmission. Is there a plate for this area between the transfer case and front axle plate.

thanks
In advance

The front axle "plate" that is half metal and half plastic/felt splash guard which talonx says is 82213094 was already installed on my 2016 WK2 Limited EcoDiesel. This vehicle did not have the off-road package or skid plates, I am installing them on my own. Get the 82211995 p/n, that is the solid metal plate that also protects the oil pan, but loses two short 'wings' that extended the 82213094 plate out towards the suspension.
