So what drivetrain upgrades?

With the 2015 Sumitt 3.0 V6 EcoDiesel engine upgrade, what upgrades did I get to the drive drive, brakes etc?

Seems I can't add 17" wheels for off road tires.

Thanks

Re: So what drivetrain upgrades?

Unfortunately there aren't really any upgrades yet to the drivetrain. What are you looking for? You can get a lift kit or performance rotors or pads, but that is pretty much it. 17's won't fit with the size rotors and calipers we have. Not sure what you are exactly looking for, but there are plenty of larger tires available for 18" wheels.
I run 33" tires with the Quadra Lift system and almost zero rubbing, but I have done a few tricks to get there. Tweaking the fender liners to get a little extra room. I only rub when it bottoms out, but that happens more than I would like.

Re: So what drivetrain upgrades?

Great looking JGC. The wheels fit the vehicle well.

I was more wondering what came with the 3.0L Diesel Engine upgrade in terms of heavier drive train.

Are there any upgrades to drivetrain components with the EcoDiesel upgrade.

The diesel has the heavier duty ZF 8 speed compared to the V6 gas. I think it also has a different rear diff ratio.....

Re: So what drivetrain upgrades?

You have the heavier tranny and the electronic locking rear diff. Along with bigger brakes and I think that's it off the top of my head.

Thicker rear axle, too.
