Strong Vibration at Idle Below Rear Seat

I have a strong vibration coming from the area under the rear passenger side floorboard. The sound reverberates through the truck at idle (such as at a stop light) and then goes away when accelerating or at speed. This just recently developed over the last few months.

Has anyone had this issue? I have Dom's DEF plate installed but it is tight and installed with foam tape to prevent vibration or rattling.

I have been to the dealer so many times since I purchased last year - hoping to avoid yet another trip.

recheck the mounts for the plate, loosen off a bit to see if it goes then re space. Also, look at the engine /transmission mounts to see if one is loose.

Do you have the ORAII package with the skid plates?

If so, check for properly tightened plate fasteners. Just bang on the plates and if there is movement and/or no solid "thump", they are most likely loose. If they are loose, use Blue Loctite on them before you cinch them up.

Strong Vibration at Idle Below Rear Seat

Check the def harness on top of my plate too. That has been know to cause vibration " noise".

Also check the exhaust heat shield next to my plate. That thing is so flimsy the wind can bend it.

Maybe also take my plate off to maybe rule that out? But yes use blue loc tite even on other bolts you can get to!
