Summit mud flaps

Not an option for the 2015 Summit/SRT sold in Australia, Husky Liners do make front and rears to suit.
Does anyone know of any companies besides HL that produce a quality 'it fits like advertised' product?

Cheers
Pat.

Pat,

I installed the Husky guards and was really not impressed with how they fit. I have since seen that Mopar recently began to offer mud flaps for the Summit and the part numbers are 82214084 and 82214085. I did confirm with my local dealer and they verified by VIN that these will work. They are also listed on Just for Jeeps website. I will be ordering these next week to install.

Re: Summit mud flaps

Thanks a lot Reaper, awesome that J now has these, they were available on the Laredo, Limited and the Overland, just not the other two.

I really appreciate you doing that.

Pat.

Re: Summit mud flaps

Pat,

Glad to help out, I just placed my order for these a few moments ago. I was really disappointed as were many others that owned GC Summit's that Mopar only made them for the models you listed. Since they are using the Summit fascia on the new High Altitude model it must have made sense for Mopar to finally have them produced. We had he Mopar mud guards on our 2006 GC Limited and the fit was great, hope the same will be true for the ones for the Summit.

Re: Summit mud flaps

Let us know how the install went with photos? Want to see how much drilling us involved. Not into mud flaps but might be okay with the HA white on black accent.

Re: Summit mud flaps

The dealer installs the Mopar flaps with plastic rivets... 5 each for the fronts, 3 each for the rears.

Check out the end of this thread... Mud Flaps - Yes or No

You can see what they look like on the front of a white GC. There's a lot of white exposed on the leading edge of the rocker panel covers as the front flaps only actually cover the wheel opening formed by the fender flare. On darker colors it's not as noticeable.

They do however fit perfectly.

Re: Summit mud flaps

I think it looks decent. I can't picture the cutout but it looks like the flaps are cutout just exactly to line the edge.

Wonder if this requires drilling for the rivets just like third party. Will look at the vehicle and see if there are pre existing holes.

There are no preexisting holes that I'm aware of so I'd have to assume they need to be drilled.

Re: Summit mud flaps

I installed a set of Mopar Splash Guards on my 16 GC Summit a few months ago and the front guards you have to drill holes which is easy to do and the rear you cut out existing rivets if I remember correctly.

Re: Summit mud flaps

DO you have to buy the front and back guards separately?
