Every Grand Cherokee, from 1993-2016 has been or will be built at Jefferson North Assembly. Including yours.

I would really just like to forget about that, but people just keep bringing it up. Lunch hour around every assembly plant in the United States, whether it be Jeep, Ford, Mercedes, Toyota and Honda is exactly the same. Trust me, I've done my own personal countrywide investigation.

We at Jefferson just "got caught".

Chrysler does not want to go through that! Ask them - Jeep - not the dealer - to buy it back. I did that once. They offered (it was like pulling teeth) a fair price (considering all cost involved - it was a lease) and got me another car. At the time I switched even from Chrysler to Jeep.

My dad worked in the Chrysler plant during WWII, when they were churning out military tanks. He was a foreman or something... dunno all the details any more. Many of the workers were very dedicated about helping the war effort. But a few would go find a quiet spot and simply fall asleep, or get drunk. They did not care if we won or lost. My dad couldn't do anything to stop them and he ended up getting an ulcer; the doctor convinced him to leave that job.

Sounds like people have not changed. I guess they never will.

I know Marlon, I should not bring it up again. I just read these stories of one-off lemons and it makes me wonder, but I bet all manufacturers have the one-off lemons.

That they do. I never will forget that Lexus ES300 that my aunt bought that didn't even make it home to her driveway before the engine blew. I mean really, double digit miles?

Geez. And right before that she was bragging about how much better Toyotas were, and how they hold their value.

Yeah. So much for that. Then she refused to keep the car. They hadn't yet filed the paperwork so they gave her another car on their lot, in a different color.

Family Reunion 2005, they got stranded right outside of Toledo. Black smoke billowing from the tailpipe. But it's okay because it's a Toyota. "It's just a sensor." Yeah, a sensor that made her instrument cluster light up like a christmas tree.

Ah, yes.

You're not alone. My vehicle, and many others, have the same issue as yours (my system blows up to 140 F air when it is set to 70 F). Please let us know in the Problem With 2014 Grand Cherokee Heater thread if your dealer manages to fix this.

In case you don't want to read a 13 page thread, I posted a synopsis which will bring you up to about a week ago.
